Here Today, Gone Tomorrow

The difference between my two homes:

In Texas, what starts with thunder ends in tornadoes and raquetball-sized hail, even in April.

Whereas, in Utah, what starts with thunder ends in a foot of snow. Even in April.

Our poor Globe Willow couldn't handle the pressure and turned into a Weeping Willow.

Piper turned into a pupsicle. She plucked ice-balls off her fur for about 1/2 hour.

The way snow should be! I don't mind snow in April because I know it will be gone the next day. In fact, seeing the end before the beginning makes it all the more beautiful.

Here is Chewy bounding toward the house.

The magic of the sun. Even the wan morning light was enough to help our tree sproing forth.

And last, our shepherding dog decides to herd me in ever tighter concentric circles.

So, our lump of hail looks like it could be your snowball!

The snow is beautiful. I hope your globe willow survives the weight. It looks like some of the limbs were broken.

And I am glad that Chewy knows his job and does it well.

Love you,

wow, that's quite a bit of snow. I think I'll stick with hail.
