Going Home

We started the day with our fourth visit from the General Pediatric "Glasgow" Team. We were switched to General Pediatrics yesterday, as General Surgery had no more use for us. I liked the Glasgow team very much -- good listeners -- empathetic -- looked at the wholistic picture.

Said they:

"I wouldn't plan on going home today."

Ok. Not too big a surprise. There are still a lot of unknowns.

Since we were sitting around status quo, watching Winnie the Pooh and playing with dinosaurs, I saw no reason to blog.

Did you want exact details on the weight of her diapers, the look of her poop, and how many tubs of peanut butter she's eaten today?

Well, sorry. You're not going to get it.

Instead, I will tell you that Bridgette's Pediatric Gastroenterologist came by this afternoon (3:30PM), and we spent a good long while visiting. (By the by, I also *really* like her. Dr. Black made an excellent recommendation. She is as good a Hirschsprung expert as anyone I'm going to find in Utah.)

Said she:

"I see no reason why you can't go home today."

And although we're still going to be watching for complications at home, we're now homeward bound!

So... that means I also can't write for very long. I need to pack our bags...

:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :0 Ooops. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
